Vivint Security
Vivint, a company that specializes in home security and automation, has been the victim of people actively trying to tarnish its name in relation to the way in which it conducts business. Indeed, Vivint itself has been present in the security business for 13 years now (it previously traded under the name APX) and has built up a large client base numbering in the hundreds of thousands with much of this client base in Utah where the company was formed. It also completed its 1 millionth installation in August 2011 so it is not a small business by any means and, instead, it enjoys a healthy and loyal customer base. That being said, there still exists some doubts as to the trustworthiness of the company and some still believe the myth that they are conducting a scam.
Vivint security has been consistently praised by many individuals as well as other businesses and industry analysts in its time. This has included awards and certification from market research companies such as J.D Power and Associates, Best Buy awards from Customer Digest and Dealer of the Year awards from SDM. So, ask yourself this, if a company such as Vivint with all its customers would be ripping people off then why have they been given all these awards over the past few years? Surely the industry would recognize that the company was not trustworthy if it had been proven that they were scamming people? Well it is clearly not the case that a scam is going on and people continue to use Vivint made products. This includes security equipment like advanced burglar alarms, motion sensors and CCTV systems and there are hundreds of thousands of households across the country that now feel much safer because of the Vivint products in the home.
