Get The Skin Benefits Of Coffee Without Drinking It

Coffee has amazing antioxidant properties that experts have been singing the praises of for years. Not only do these effects show on the inside, but they show on the outside as well, mainly in the skin. But not everyone enjoys drinking coffee, especially because of the caffeine. Luckily, you can use it just as easily outside as you can by consuming it, by creating this easy to use body scrub.

All you need is a cup of coffee, 1/4 of a cup of coarse sea salt, and a 3 tablespoons of a base oil, just as jojoba or almond (jojoba is recommended for anyone with dry or combination skin, almond for oily). Mix these ingredients well to create a kind of thick paste.

After wetting down your skin in the shower, rub the paste sparingly and evenly over the entire body. Be careful when rubbing it into the face, using gentle circles so as not to scratch the skin. Avoid contact with the eyes, as it is sure to cause some damage is you blink in coffee grounds.

Wash it well, and check out the difference! The exfoliating roughness of the sea salt, along with the antioxidant properties of the coffee, should begin to show a significant difference within a few uses.
